DESCRIPTION:This is a one-day\, in-person Safety Care Recertification class for DSPs and MHRTs who are currently certified and need to renew their certificate. The class safely trains people in the basics of applied behavioral analysis principles such as challenging behavior\, identification of antecedents and consequences\, and differential reinforcement as methods for preventing or minimizing behavioral crises.

SUMMARY:Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) (Skowhegan)
DESCRIPTION:This class is scheduled for February 3\,4\,5\,8\,10\, 2027 and Snow Days February 11\,12 at the Skowhegan Training Center. \n5-day course in-person from 8:30 – 4:00pm. \nTeaches the skills needed for safe medication administration and covers State of Maine regulations\, common medications and side effects\, and basic anatomy and physiology.  \nParticipants may choose to add supervised Medication Administration provided by an RN and needed to obtain the certification. If you are not an NCI employee and will use an alternate RN\, you may opt out of the NCI supervised medication pass during the registration process. The class fee without the medication pass is $325.
