Diabetic Certification

December 5, 2018

This certification course meets Maine assisted housing licensing standards and covers dietary requirements, anti-diabetic oral medications, injection techniques and site rotation, treatment and prevention of insulin reaction including signs/symptoms, foot care, and Standard Precautions.

Description:

  • The Norway Training Center is within a brick building that was once an old fire station and still has two garage doors on the front street level.
  • There is all day street parking on Main Street by Cumberland Farms, which is located one building away for the Center. Students may also park behind WOXO radio station in spaces designated for New Communities employees.
