In order to successfully complete the course, students must attend all scheduled classes and complete all course requirements. Students who fail an exam will be asked to repeat the entire class. Students must be 18 years of age or over. Please notify the training department in advance if a student has any special needs.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
In order to receive a refund, you must provide notice of cancellation at least two days prior to the start of the course.
Student Certificate Policy
It is New Communities’ policy to retain student certificates for three (3) years after the conclusion of a course.
All courses are scheduled to start at the times indicated on the confirmation email. If a student is going to be late or is unable to attend the training, please notify us before class begins. If a student misses a substantial amount of course time due to tardiness, they may fail the course. We are unable to refund the course fee if a student fails or does not attend.
Early Release
There may be times due to class size, student participation, and training requirements when students may be released earlier than indicated on the confirmation email. It is the responsibility of the student to notify their employer of any changes to the class schedule.
Storm Cancellations
Weather related cancellations are posted on our website at www.newcommunitiesinc.org. A recorded message announcing weather related cancellations is also available the day of class after 6:15 a.m. by calling 207-591-0751 x117.

2 hour parking is available on Main Street and additional parking is available behind WOXO Radio Station. If you park in the WOXO radio station parking lot, please only use the spaces that are located to the far right of the parking lot.

The Skowhegan Training Center is located beside Carriage House Apartments which are a brick building with white pillars in the front.
The Skowhegan Training Center is located to the left of the Carriage House Apartments and looks like a garage that has been turned into a building. This is the building you are looking at when you drive up the driveway.
If you cannot find a place to park, you can park at the church and walk up, it is close.

Payment in full is due prior to the start of class. Payment can be made by check, money order or by credit card. These payment options are available with online or print registrations.
